GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY — Georgia State Law 3L student Alexandra Armbruster reflects on her recovery from alcohol and drug addiction and her pursuit to fulfill a childhood dream of becoming an attorney. As a recipient of the Catherine C. Henson Law Scholarship, Armbruster hopes to use her law degree to help others get access to treatment.

GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY — Georgia State Law students presented linguistic and historical research on the original meaning of various provisions of the U.S. Constitution and its Bill of Rights using the Corpus of Founding Era American English (COFEA) database. SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN — A recent Harvard study concluded that graduate students are over three times more likely than the average American to experience mental health disorders and depression. The study surveyed over 500 economics students from eight elite universities, also concluded that one in 10 students experienced suicidal thoughts over a two-week period.
