UGA Law launches new clinic that serves Georgia veterans and their dependents
UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA SCHOOL OF LAW — University of Georgia Law’s Veterans Legal Clinic serves Georgia veterans and their dependents to help them get the benefits they have earned through military service. Launched in May 2018, the clinic focuses on helping clients with benefits claims already submitted to the VA and the Social Security Administration.

UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA SCHOOL OF LAW — Two University of Georgia faculty members, Emma Hetherington (Law) and Jennifer Elkins (Social Work), who designed a model for teaching trauma-informed courtroom practices to social work and law students have won the 2018 SAGE Publishing/CSWE Award for Innovative Teaching in Social Work Education.
