Aryele Maye, Professor of Practice, University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law
Aryele Maye joined UNT Dallas College of Law as Professor of Practice effective January 1, 2022. Prior to joining UNT Dallas College of Law, Maye worked in entertainment in television production and brand protection. Before beginning her career as an attorney, Maye taught a variety of subjects at the middle school level for over four years.Maye has been a member of the New York Bar since 2017. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College in 2009 and received a Juris Doctorate from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2016. She earned her LL.M. in Fashion Law from Fordham Law School in 2017.
Korin Munsterman, Faculty Director, University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law
Professor Korin Munsterman joined the University of North Texas (UNT) Dallas College of Law in May 2021 as Professor of Practice and Director of the Legal Education Technology program. She earned her juris doctorate degree from American University Washington College of Law, and her Masters of Library and Information Science at Florida State University. Her current research focuses on artificial intelligence and the law.Professor Munsterman brings valuable experience to UNT Dallas College of Law, having previously worked at distinguished institutions like Harvard Law School, Harvard Business School, American University Washington College of Law, and UMass Dartmouth School of Law. Over the course of her career, she has had the opportunity to consult with various law schools, firms, and government agencies on integrating technology into legal practice and education. She has developed online LL.M. programs, and was commissioned by BARBRI to develop a prototype course for use in schools that offer online J.D. programs. At UNT Dallas College of Law, Professor Munsterman aims to equip students with relevant technical skills through courses in AI and the Law, Law Practice Technology, and Social Media and the Law. She strives to share practical insights drawn from her prior hands-on experience with legal technologies. She also has experience teaching criminal law, advanced criminal procedure, and advanced legal research. As she has at other law schools, Professor Munsterman works collaboratively with faculty to integrate innovative technologies into their courses, including team-based learning platforms and applications of generative AI. Her efforts help ensure an interactive curriculum at the cutting edge of legal education. She also works with the law school administration to leverage technology to improve systems and services. Her teaching and research interests include examining how legal practice and technology intersect and complement each other in impactful ways. She is currently working on her first book, AI and the Practice of Law in a Nutshell. Professor Munsterman is dedicated to preparing UNT Dallas College of Law students to meet the opportunities and challenges of 21st century law practice.
