UNIVERSITY OF THE PACIFIC — In just the past two years, Chris Micheli, ’92, has translated his extensive knowledge and experience developed based on his many years navigating California’s Capitol to publish seven books on California’s legislative and regulatory processes. His most recent book, “Insiders Talk: Guide to Executive Branch Agency Rulemaking: Policy, Procedure, Participation, and Post-Promulgation Appeal” was published in July 2021. Micheli is a long-time adjunct faculty member in McGeorge’s Capital Center for Law & Policy, teaching Lawmaking in California and class sessions as part of McGeorge’s Legislative and Public Policy Clinic. He also teaches in McGeorge online Master of Science in Law, Government Law & Policy program. He is also a principal at the Sacramento-based government affairs firm Aprea & Micheli.
