Section on Institutional Advancement
How do reporters decide what becomes news—and how can law schools and communications professionals effectively engage them? This panel brings together journalists covering higher education, law schools, and the legal profession to discuss how reporters identify and develop institutional stories, what they look for in expert sources, and how communications professionals can build productive relationships with local, national, and beat reporters. Panelists will also discuss how social media and other platforms connect scholars with journalists.
