This interactive session shows how Copilot can streamline your daily work in higher education. We will dig into some of the great features that allow for better personalization; such as using the prompt gallery, scheduling prompts, reviewing Memory, and leveraging Instructions. Participants will learn how to save effective prompts, use Memory and Instructions to save time, and discuss workflows across Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power Platform. We’ll cover data boundary patterns and sensitive information handling so you can use Copilot responsibly. By the end, you’ll have ready‑to‑use prompts and tips to personalize Copilot to accelerate your productivity and collaboration.
Joe Brazier, Director and Industry Advisor, Microsoft
Joe is a Director and Industry Advisor at Microsoft, focused on Higher Education across the Americas. He partners with institutions, account teams, and ISVs to identify high‑value use cases for AI and inclusive technologies, and to shape solutions that drive measurable impact for students, faculty & staff, and administrators. He is additionally focused on accessibility in higher education and the role of inclusive design in advancing equitable access, student success, and institutional innovation.
Joe previously served as Director of Worldwide Education – Azure, collaborating across product, marketing, and field teams to accelerate cloud innovation in education. Before joining Microsoft, he worked in K–12 Special Education and instructional technology, including roles as a Life Skills Special Education Teacher and Technology Integration Leader.
