Purpose
The purpose of this section is to
a. promote the communication of ideas, interests and activities among members of the section and make recommendations to the Association on matters concerning equity and inclusion;
b. develop and share equity and inclusion best practices for individuals with primary accountability for diversity initiatives at their institutions, including but not limited to, curriculum development, faculty recruitment, admissions outreach, and alumni engagement targeting members of historically underrepresented groups;
c. develop and share best practices for the support and professional success of diverse law school faculty and staff, and promote a culture of belonging within the legal academy.
