Tony Simon, Gift Planning Officer, Penn State University College of Liberal Arts

Tony is an experienced fundraiser and licensed attorney with 20+ years of experience in the higher education arena. For the last 4 years he has served as a Gift Planning Officer in Penn State’s Office of Gift Planning where he is responsible for planned giving support services for multiple colleges and units at Penn State. Immediately prior to joining the Office of Gift Planning, Tony served as a Director of Major Gifts in the College of the Liberal Arts at Penn State for 4 years. Before embarking on a fundraising career at Penn State, Tony practiced law in central Pennsylvania for 12 years, focusing his practice on estate planning and administration, tax law, tax exempt organizations and charitable giving. Tony is a graduate of the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and received his undergraduate degree from Albion College in Albion, MI. He resides in State College, Pennsylvania.
