The Ohio State University invites nominations and applications for a visionary and dynamic leader to serve as Dean of the Michael E. Moritz College of Law. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Provost, the Dean provides academic, intellectual, and administrative leadership and works with key stakeholders to champion the College’s mission. The Dean will serve as the chief academic officer of the College and will build upon its history as a transformative law school that is a part of a world-class research university with a land grant mission. The Dean will set strategic priorities and a collaborative vision for the future of the College.

The Dean should hold a J.D. or equivalent and possess a record of recognized professional, scholarly, teaching, and service achievements that would warrant appointment as a tenured professor in the Moritz College of Law. Applications should include a detailed curriculum vitae and a letter of interest highlighting the applicant’s personal interest and relevant leadership experience.
