The case, Worsdale v. City of Killeen, Texas involved the issue of requirement of ‘notice’ under the Texas Tort Claims Act.

YALE LAW SCHOOL — A group of devoted law students in Yale’s Juvenile Justice Clinic helped to exonerate their client, Vernon Horn, from a crime he did not commit. On April 25, 2018, after 17 years in prison, Horn walked out of a New Haven Superior Court a free man, completely exonerated from the crime.

WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF LAW — West Virginia Law rising 2L student Emily Cramer was awarded the American Bar Association’s prestigious Janet Dempsey Steiger Fellowship. Cramer will receive a $6,000 stipend to work eight weeks in the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the West Virginia Attorney General in Charleston this summer.
