University of Virginia students study legal remedies for air pollution in Colombia

UVA LAW — As part of the International Human Rights Clinic, our student group traveled to Bogota, Colombia, last month to meet with our partner organization, Dejusticia, in order to conduct interviews with researchers and practitioners involved in Colombia’s efforts to improve air quality.

Utah S.J. Quinney Law student inspired to give back to others after receiving academic scholarship

Law students put pressure on law firms that enforce mandatory arbitration

LAW.COM — The law students behind a national effort to end mandatory arbitration at law firms stepped up their efforts. The students, led by Harvard Law School’s Pipeline Parity Project, also are asking the National Association for Law Placement to begin collecting information from firms to identify those that require employees to sign mandatory arbitration agreements.
