University of Akron trademark clinic helps local start-ups launch their dreams

CRAIN’S CLEVELAND BUSINESS — The University of Akron Law’s Trademark Clinic is one of only a handful of clinics around the country that are specially designated by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to allow students to prosecute trademark applications. Since 2016, students in the clinic have filed 100 trademark application and obtained 48 registrations.
