Yale Law Housing Clinic files brief to protect low-income borrowers

YALE LAW SCHOOL — The Mortgage Foreclosure track of the Housing Clinic at Yale Law School filed an amicus brief on December 7, 2020 arguing that courts should be able to give ill-gotten profits back to the Federal Trade Commission for distribution to consumers. The Clinic submitted the brief in support of respondents at the Supreme Court.

UConn Law student Steve Kennedy pursues career in law after volunteering on behalf of veterans

UCONN TODAY — Kennedy was one of two named plaintiffs in a lawsuit on behalf of more than 3,000 veterans who were denied honorable discharges by the Army Discharge Review Board. The clinic argued that the board failed to evaluate the soldiers’ mental health conditions when deciding whether to upgrade their discharge status.

Fordham Law Dispute Resolution Society Domestic Arbitration team wins ABA regional competition
