University of Virginia Immigration Law Society hosts discussion on recent Supreme Court cases

VIRGINIA LAW WEEKLY — On October 15, the Immigration Law Society hosted a “Supreme Court Roundup,” wherein three cases from the Supreme Court’s 2020 docket pertaining to immigration were discussed and analyzed. Heading up the discussion was the Law School’s own Professor Kevin Cope, who specializes in immigration law.

Yale Law to launch Center for Law and Racial Justice

YALE DAILY NEWS — On Oct. 14, President Peter Salovey announced the creation of the Center for Law and Racial Justice in an email sent out to the Yale community. The center, which is set to open next fall, will be headquartered at the Yale Law School and directed by law professor James Forman.
