Mitchell Hamline Law faculty passes anti-racism resolution

MITCHELL HAMLINE SCHOOL OF LAE — Mitchell Hamline School of Law is pledging to work toward becoming an antiracist law school, with the passage of a resolution approved last week. The resolution commits the school to several actions to “identify and eliminate racism that exists at our school, in the legal profession, and in the judicial system.”

Report: Underrepresented lawyers are leaving law firms at a high rate

ABA JOURNAL — More minorities are getting hired as associates, but law firm leadership is mostly white and male because of a diversity “bottleneck” and higher rates of minority attrition, according to an ABA survey report. The 2020 Model Diversity Survey Report is the first ABA report on diversity, equity and inclusion in law firm practice.
