Gifts of Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities are a smart and simple way to maximize the effectiveness of your charitable giving. These gifts allow you to avoid capital gains taxes on the contributed shares and to be credited with a gift valued at the full fair market value of those shares. For information on making a stock gift, please contact AALS Director of Development Mary Dillon Kerwin via email or (202) 759-9214.
You may designate AALS as a beneficiary of your will or retirement plan. A legacy gift provides significant future support to AALS. For questions about legacy gifts, please contact Mary Dillon Kerwin via email or (202) 759-9214.
