UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI NEWS — Lori Krafte ’98 has been elected to the prestigious American Law Institute (ALI), the leading independent organization in the United States producing scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and otherwise improve the law.  Krafte joins 58 other new members who will bring their perspective, insight, and expertise to the ongoing work of the Institute. “This challenging year reminded us that ALI’s mission to protect the administration of justice and the rule of law is an ongoing one,” said ALI President David F. Levi in the announcement. “I am proud to be a part of an organization that brings together people to discuss challenging topics in a courteous, informed, collegial, and productive way in an effort to find rules and solutions that work for everyone. Closing out this year, it is with great pride that I welcome this new class of members to the Institute.” Krafte, a partner with Wood Herron & Evans, counsels clients in the areas of advertising, trademarks, copyright and privacy. She also has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law for many years, teaching advertising law and trademark law.
