YLS Announces 47 Public Interest Fellowship Recipients for 2017-2018

Yale Law School is proud to congratulate the 47 students and recent graduates who have been named recipients of public interest fellowships for 2017-2018.

Thirty three of the recipients will receive Yale Law School public interest post-graduate fellowships through programs that include the YLS Public Interest Fellowship, the Yale Law Journal Fellowship, the Arthur Liman Public Interest Fellowship, the Robert L. Bernstein Fellowship in International Human Rights, the Heyman Federal Public Service Fellowship, the Robina Foundation Human Rights Fellowship, the Gruber Fellowship in Global Justice and Women’s Rights, the San Francisco Affirmative Litigation Project Fellowship, the YLS International Court of Justice Internship/Clerkship and the YLS Permanent Court of Arbitration Fellowship. Fourteen will pursue public interest work through fellowship programs funded by outside organizations, including the Skadden Foundation and Equal Justice Works.

This year’s recipients will be working for such organizations as Greater Boston Legal Services, Center for Reproductive Rights, Natural Resources Defense Council, U.S. Senate Finance Committee and the Office of Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo.
