Explores constitution, hosts meet & greet with students

Senator Tim Kaine visited Richmond Law on Oct. 30 to explore "The Constitution at 230: Signs of Stress & Resilience." Kaine highlighted the ways in which the system of checks and balances are proof that the Constitution is thriving and working — both in government and outside of it. “We’re seeing the civic institutions that were put in place really come to life in amazing ways,” he said.

In addition to the lecture, Kaine hosted a meet-and-greet with a small group of law students.

Kaine has a longstanding relationship with the Law School, first serving as an adjunct professor of legal ethics and later as a distinguished lecturer.
