On the move: MC School of Law

•Jim Rosenblatt, dean emeritus, will receive the 2016 Deborah L. Rhode Award from the Association of American Law Schools for his investment and commitment to pro bono work and public interest programs. During his time as dean, Rosenblatt created initiatives for students involved in public interest work and fostered an overarching culture of service. He sought out methods to assist the city’s underprivileged communities, which resulted in the development of the Mission First Legal Aid Office. Rosenblatt will receive the award at the AALS Annual Meeting in New York on Jan. 8.
