Carlton Martin, '12, Takes Position with National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty

Carlton Martin, '12, has accepted a management position with the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty in Washington, D.C. He will be sworn into the D.C. Bar on January 24.
Martin previously was a staff attorney for the Indiana Supreme Court, where he was the Indiana Conference on Legal Education Director and Coalition for Court Access to Justice staff attorney. Prior to that, Martin worked as a deputy public defender for the Public Defender of Indiana. Martin also has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Ivy Tech Community College and Grace College & Seminary.
The National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty is the only national organization dedicated to using the power of the law and policy to end and prevent homelessness and to protect the rights of people experiencing it. He will work with Congress and national experts in this field.
