Wednesday, January 3 – Saturday, January 6, 2018

The registration rate includes three and half days of interactive sessions organized by 101 Sections and AALS programs such as Arc of Career, Discussion Groups, Open Source, Symposium, and Hot Topic sessions. Your registration also includes the AALS Opening Plenary session with featured speakers, the AALS Opening Reception, the AALS Exhibit Hall, along with morning and afternoon refreshment breaks. Registration for Section on Institutional Advancement Program and Luncheon

Thursday, January 4 – Friday, January 5, 2018

Registration rates are available to law school professional staff and includes admission to only the Section on Institutional Advancement sessions on Thursday and Friday, the Section on Institutional Advancement Luncheon on Friday, the AALS Exhibit Hall, as well as morning and afternoon refreshment breaks. Registration for the Institutional Advancement Luncheon is included in this registration fee. You do not need to register separately for the luncheon if you register for this rate. To ensure the security of payment information in accordance with Payment Card Industry Association standards, email registration is no longer available. For online registrations, email confirmations are automatically generated and received within a few minutes. There is also an opportunity to send secondary email confirmations in both the Individual and Group Registration systems. For paper forms – including mailed check payments – email confirmations will be sent after the registration process has been completed. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing and submitted no later than December 15, 2017. A refund of all registration fees, minus a $50 processing fee, will be issued to these requests. Cancellations received after this date, as well as no-shows to the Annual Meeting, are not eligible to receive refunds of registration fees. Cancellation requests can be made by email to or regular mail to: AALS Registration, c/o Erick Brown, 1614 20th St. NW, Washington, DC 20009.

Registration substitutions are welcome, and can be submitted up until January 2, 2018. Instructions for submitting your request are available on the Registration section of the FAQ page.
