Workshop Brochure Financial Assistance Application
The workshop will be of interest to all minoritized law school teachers who are navigating the tenure process and looking for guidance and encouragement. This includes professors who have not yet had a mid-probationary or retention review and professors who have passed the mid-probationary or retention review but are not yet tenured.
The Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) has generously made available some funds to assist faculty who would like to attend the Workshop for Pretenured Law School Teachers of Color at the 2018 Annual Meeting in San Diego, California. Funds are limited to assisting pretenured faculty who would not otherwise be able to attend the Workshop. Faculty who qualify for assistance may request reimbursement support in several categories including:
If there are more funds requested than available, successful applicants may be offered less than 100% of the amount requested. Please consider how you can keep costs down (e.g. sharing rooms), so we’re able to help as many faculty as possible.
NEW DEADLINE: Interested faculty should complete this application by October 3, 2017. Applicants will be notified by October 17, 2017.
