The Association of American Law Schools (AALS), a 501(c)(3) higher education association, represents 176 American law schools and is located in downtown Washington, DC. AALS seeks 1 undergraduate or graduate student to work approximately 20–25 hours per week, providing support to the Meetings Group, general administrative and office help at our Dupont Circle headquarters office as a Student Assistant. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this position will work remotely until further notice. However, this role will be expected to report to our Washington, DC office once operations return to normal.
The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, self-motivated, reliable, a great writer, able to manage multiple projects and meet established deadlines, a team player willing to assist other teams as needed, and willing to learn new things and ask questions as they arise, and willing to roll up his/her sleeves to help with any project or task assigned. This position requires significant use of Microsoft Office, general WordPress or HTML skills, and will involve significant data entry. Candidates must be able to work 2-3 full days per week during normal business hours, Monday–Friday.
