The problems that we had when we try to contact universities in India are following: some law schools do not have email address; some law schools’ web site are under construction; some web sites do not have English translation;

Process from Law School to practice:

At present there is no Bar examinations for licensing a law school graduate as an advocate. The law school degree of LL.B. is the minimum qualification for admission to the Bar which is done by the Bar Council of Kerala.

Process from Law School to practice:

Law School graduate has to enroll at the Bar by paying Registration fee for State Jurisdiction in the High Courts. To have an entry into the Supreme Court of the Nation, one has to re-qualify by passing different tests, first to be called as Advocate on Record and then as Senior.

Process from Law School to practice:

At present a law graduate is eligible to enroll as a fully licensed member of the Bar at the lower level by submitting an application to the State Bar Council along with relevant certificate of passing the Degree certificate by the Institution where student studied prescribed fee and by publishing in a local newspaper. The name moved by a Senior Advocate on a particular day announced but having been satisfied about the credentials, the State Bar Council registers him as a Member of the Bar.

However, the Supreme Court of India insists upon passing of a separate examination conducted by it after having a minimum of 5 years experience at the Bar enrolment.

The process from Law School to practice:

The students after completing law have to enroll with the State Bar Council to become entitled to practice in the District Court and High Court. The State Bar Council has to maintain roll of advocates. For practicing in the Supreme Court, the enrolment is to be done with the Bar Council of India.

After doing graduation in Law, students are allowed under the Advocates Act to register themselves at any state level Bar.

After passing out from the college, the students apply to the State Bar Council for a license to be enrolled as an advocate to practice anywhere in India.

Process from Law School to practice:

The law school graduate for becoming a fully licensed member of the Bar has to give an application to State Bar Council for advocate enrollment with prescribed fee. The State Bar Council enrollment Committee enrolls such person and gives the certificate and identity card. Thereafter, he has to become member of the Local Bar Association.

Process from Law School to practice:

Student should posses a Law degree from a Law College recognized by the University and Bar Council of India. He should enroll himself/herself in the High Court with all necessary testimonials and by paying the prescribed fees.

S.D.M. Law College is prestigious institution with a qualified staff and provided with all the necessary infra structures needed for a Law Institution.

There is no need to undergo any training after securing the LL.B. degree and they need not to pass any other examination for enrolling as advocates.

Process from Law School to practice:

After doing LL.B. from the University, the candidates in order to practice law may seek enrollment from State Bar Council after complying with the procedure lead down for the purpose.

Process from Law School to practice:

The students have to apply to the State Bar Council with certificate of passing and mark card issued by the University. The applicant issued a registration certificate by the Bar Council, after which they are allowed to practice law in any count in India.
