U.S. Legal Sector Adds 200 Jobs in July

The U.S. legal services sector added 200 jobs during the month of June, as the overall economy gained 215,000 jobs, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The number of people employed in the legal business stood at 1,122,200 last month, or 4,200 more than were employed when the year started, according to bureau data.

The seven-month gain eclipses a loss of 2,700 jobs the legal industry sustained throughout the course of 2014, in the latest sign of a volatile market.
