Several of the main conference sessions were taped. Those sessions are now available on-line, courtesy of the UCLA Law Library, at The site is password protected. Please contact the AALS for the username and password.

Speakers at the Conference on New Ideas were asked to submit materials from their presentations to be posted on the Conference website. Submitted materials can be viewed by using the links below.

Conference on New Ideas registrants were given the opportunity to submit scholarship on teaching (teaching methods, pedagogy, learning theory) to be posted on the Conference website. Submitted scholarship can be viewed by using the links below.

To open the conference to a wide array of ideas about teaching, the Conference planners encouraged those faculty who would like to share their work and ideas with a larger audience to submit a proposal for a brief (15-20 minute) presentation at the Conference. The following law teachers submitted proposals and agreed to have them posted on this website.
