MC School of Law hosts 40 anniversary celebration

Mississippi College School of Law will host the kickoff Tuesday of the school's 40th anniversary celebration.

MC School of Law Dean Wendy B. Scott, Mississippi College President Dr. Lee Royce, a representative from Mayor Tony Yarber's office, and other invited guests will speak on MC Law's contributions to the legal, educational, and local communities.

The kickoff event will begin a year of celebration, as the MC Law community recognizes the history, milestones, and successes of the law school. The year of commemoration will conclude in May of 2016.

The "40 Years of Success" celebration begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the law school's downtown campus. A press conference will be held outside the school's classroom building, followed by a reception in the student center auditorium.
