Workshop for New Law School Teachers
Why Attend?
The 26th annual Workshop for New Law School Teachers is designed to offer new law teachers ideas about teaching techniques and scholarly development and to enable them to share excitement, experiences and concerns about entering the academic world. The workshop provides an opportunity to discuss the expectations that students and colleagues may have about new teachers, and the most effective means for achieving professional success in their first few years of teaching. It will focus on issues of teaching, scholarship and service, as well as institutional and individual concerns of new law teachers.
Who Should Attend?
The Workshop will be of interest to newly appointed faculty members, including teachers with up to two years of teaching experience, as well as those with appointments as visiting assistant professors.
