General Information
Jazz Fest
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is scheduled for April 27 – 29 and May 4 - 6. The Jazz Fest price for adult tickets purchased in advance is $30 and $5 for children (2-11). Major credit cards are accepted for advance online ticket purchase at ticketmaster.com. Tickets can be purchased at the Jazz Fest ticket office located at New Orleans Arena, 1501 Girod St. A $2 per ticket service charge will apply to cash purchases. Airline Discounts
AALS is pleased to announce that it has been able to secure special airline discounts for the Workshop. Reservations can be made by you or your professional travel consultant. American Airlines offers a 5% discount off the lowest published fares. Rules and restrictions apply. O, Q, S, N fares do not qualify for discounts, nor do already discounted (Senior, Child, Military/Government) fares. Discounts apply on American Airlines, American Eagle and AmericanConnection Service. Internet Access
Internet access is available in the guest rooms of the hotel. It is a wired connection for your personal laptop computer at a cost of $9.95 + tax for a 24 hour period from 12 p.m. to the following day at 12 p.m.
There is one full service and one self service Business Center in the hotel. The full service center is open 7am-8pm Monday through Friday and 10am- 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. The self service center is open 24hours. Each center has four computer terminals. Internet access is $5.00 + tax per ¼ hour.
