Subject: Proposed Agenda for the Thursday, January 6,
and Saturday, January 8, 2000, Meetings of the AALS House of
Representatives in Washington, D.C.
The House of Representatives will
hold its first meeting during the Association's Annual Meeting in Washington,
D.C. beginning at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2000, and its second and
concluding meeting beginning at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2000.
Rule 5 of the Rules of Procedure for
the House of Representatives of the Association of American Law Schools
specifies that "The agenda for the annual meeting of the Association shall
be prepared and presented by the Executive Committee for adoption by the House
of Representatives at the beginning of the first business meeting of the
Association." The proposed agenda
and the backup memoranda for the agenda items for these two meetings of the
House of Representatives are enclosed.
The backup memoranda have been mailed to you previously.
