Subject: Request for Status Report on Distance
Learning Projects
The
AALS Committees on Curriculum and Research and Libraries and Technology are
exploring the effect of newly developing technologies, including long-distance
learning technologies, on the academic programs of law schools, both inside and
outside the classroom. Pursuant to that
interest, the committees are requesting that you report on any distance
learning projects that your school has implemented during the last two or three
years. The committees would also like
to know of any plans for future use.
This
information may be sent to my attention and may be reported by e-mail to hgprince@aals.org. In turn, the committees hope to play a
clearinghouse role by letting all schools know of innovations that are taking
place in the use of distance learning technology and how those uses can benefit
educational programs.
Thank
you for helping us collect this information.
