Subject:        1999 Memorials

 

                   Please provide us with the names of faculty members formerly associated with your school who died in 1998 or 1999 and who have not previously been remembered at an AALS Annual Meeting.  In order that we can prepare a list for the memorial observance during the Annual Meeting in January, we need to receive this information by November 19.

 

                   The Association publishes written memorials of deceased faculty members in each volume of the Proceedings of the Annual Meeting.  Please ask someone on your faculty to write the memorial and advise that person that the Association needs to receive the written memorial by January 31, 2000, to insure that it is included in the 2000 Proceedings.  You should also provide this office with the name and telephone number of the person who has agreed to write the memorial.
