| Subject: | Luncheon for Foreign Law School Deans |
As part of the AALS's continuing effort to expand opportunities for cooperation between United States law schools and law schools in other countries, the AALS is hosting a luncheon for all deans of law schools from foreign countries (primarily Latin American deans) who will be attending the 1999 Annual Meeting. You are also invited to this luncheon which will immediately follow the program of the Section on Graduate Programs for Foreign Lawyers, on Thursday, January 7, 1999. The luncheon will be from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Napoleon Ballroom on the third floor of the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel. The luncheon speaker is Senator José Antonio Viera Gallo, Chilé.
While there is no additional charge for this luncheon, you must be registered for the AALS Annual Meeting and return the attached form to attend. Luncheon tickets will be included with your registration materials that you receive in New Orleans; you will not be able to attend the luncheon without a ticket. Please return the attached form to our office indicating whether you will attend the luncheon. We must receive your response no later than December 15, 1998.
