Enclosed is the 1998 FRC Timetable with important deadline dates. We will try to adhere as closely as possible to the timetable. As I stated in Memorandum 98-21, we will send the contact person the forms needed to make your school's interviewing suite arrangements on or about July 31.
Also, if you have not yet sent your contact name to Mary Judkins, please fax to her at (202) 296-8869 as soon as possible.

| June 12 | Deadline date for receipt by AALS of form identifying the school's Faculty Recruitment Conference contact person |
| July 31 | AALS sends contact person information and forms concerning interview rooms, room service for the interview rooms, and names of faculty recruitment team members. This year make all recruitment team members hotel reservations directly with the hotel, with the exception of the team member staying in the interviewing suite. |
| August 13 | Deadline date for receipt by AALS of ads for September 4 Placement Bulletin (#1) |
| August 27 | Deadline date for receipt by AALS of ads for September 18 Placement Bulletin (#2) |
| August 28 | First Faculty Appointments Register Distribution |
| August 28 | Deadline date for receipt by AALS of information solicited in the July 31 mailing concerning interview rooms, interview room "room service" and names of recruitment team members |
| September 10 | Deadline date for receipt by AALS of ads for October 2 Placement Bulletin (#3) |
| September 11 | Second Faculty Appointments Register Distribution |
| September 25 | Third Faculty Appointments Register Distribution |
| September 28 | AALS sends interview room assignments to contact person |

| January 14 | Deadline date for receipt by AALS of ads for February 5 Placement Bulletin (#4) |
