SUBJECT: 2007 Faculty Recruitment Conference
The 2007 Faculty Recruitment Conference (FRC) will be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Thursday, October 25-27, 2007.
Enclosed is a form on which we ask you to designate the person responsible for administering your school's faculty recruitment efforts for the FRC. This includes deleting last year's recruitment team members who are not participating this year and entering the names of your 07-08 team members in the on-line AALS Faculty Recruitment Services. AALS will direct all subsequent communication to that “contact person” as well as to the dean. This information is necessary to ensure that you receive all information regarding the Faculty Recruitment Conference. The contact person will receive a username and password via email shortly after returning the enclosed form.
Also enclosed is the 2007 FRC Timetable with important deadline dates. We will send the contact person the forms needed to make your school's interviewing suite arrangements on or about June 16, 2006.
Please return the enclosed sheet to Wendy Shapiro Livingston, AALS Meeting Manager, by Friday, April 13, 2007. If you wish, you may fax this information to her attention at (202) 296-8869 or email it to email@example.com. Please also note on the form if you do not plan to participate in the 2007 Faculty Recruitment Conference.
