SUBJECT: Retiring Faculty Register, February 2007 Publication

In response to Memorandum 07-01, dated January 16, 2007, law schools have advised us that the attached list of faculty members have recently retired or will retire before the beginning of the 2007-2008 academic year. Also attached to this memo are the faculty members listed in the October 2007 Retiring Faculty Register.

You may recall that, in soliciting the names of the retirees, we stated: “Some faculty members who would be willing to consider invitations from other schools would nevertheless be uncomfortable taking the initiative to make that interest known, so please do not make a retiring faculty member's expressed willingness to consider an offer a prerequisite to sending us the name.” The list thus contains the names of all retirees submitted to us, without regard to their interest in teaching next year.
