| SUBJECT: | Nominations for 2006 AALS President-Elect and Members of the AALS Executive Committee |
The Committee on Nominations for 2006 AALS Officers and Executive Committee members, chaired by Patricia A. O'Hara , Notre Dame Law School , invites suggestions for candidates for President-Elect of the Association and for two positions on the Executive Committee. The committee will meet in the fall to recommend candidates for these positions to the House of Representatives at the January 2006 Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana. President N. William Hines has appointed an able, informed, and representative Nominating Committee. This committee would very much appreciate your help and the help of members of your faculty in generating names for its consideration. Suggestions of persons to be considered and relevant comments should be sent to me at 1201 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Suite 800, Washington, DC 20036-2605.
The other members of the Committee on Nominations are: Mary L. Dudziak, University of Southern California; Claudio Grossman, American University; Alex M. Johnson, Jr., University of Minnesota; Dennis O. Lynch, University of Miami; Toni Marie Massaro, University of Arizona; and Wendy Collins Perdue, Georgetown University.
