As my e-mail of last week indicated, the AALS is cosponsoring a U.S.-China Dean’s Conference to be held in Beijing, China from March 31 to April 2, 2005. One important step in the planning for this conference is to collect information about existing programs of cooperation that U.S. law schools have with Chinese law schools. Such programs could include exchange agreements, study abroad programs, research collaboration, joint programs, etc. Please respond as soon as possible by providing us with such information. If there is someone else in your law school to whom this request should be directed, please forward this to that person.
After collecting and compiling this information, we will share it with all U.S. law school deans. Thank you for your assistance.
