As you may know, we have traditionally allocated interviewing suites/rooms at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel for AALS Faculty Recruitment Conference on a first come, first served basis. Due to the additional time that mail can take to reach some Member Schools, we have realized that a more equitable system would be to institute a lottery system for assigning suites to Member Schools whose AALS Faculty Recruitment Conference Room/Suite Reservation Form is received by the deadline date of August 12, 2002. After assigning suites to those Member Schools, we will conduct a lottery for the Fee Paid Schools whose AALS Faculty Recruitment Conference Room/Suite Reservation Form has arrived by the deadline date. After that date, we will assign Interviewing Suite/Room Form requests on a first come, first served basis.
