Subject: 2002 Faculty Recruitment Conference

 

The 2002 Faculty Recruitment Conference (FRC) will be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Thursday, October 24 - Saturday, October 26, 2002.

Enclosed is a form on which we ask you to designate the person responsible for administering your school’s faculty recruitment efforts at the FRC. AALS will direct all subsequent communication to that “contact person” as well as to the dean. This information is necessary to ensure that you receive all information regarding the Faculty Recruitment Conference.

Also enclosed is the 2002 FRC Timetable with important deadline dates. We will try to adhere as closely as possible to the timetable. We will send the contact person the forms needed to make your school's interviewing suite arrangements on or about July 15, 2002.

Please return the enclosed sheet to Wendy S. Shapiro, AALS Meeting Manager, by Monday, April 15, 2002. If you wish, you may fax this information to her attention at (202) 296-8869 or email it to wshapiro@aals.org.
