Enclosed is the fourth distribution of the fall 2000 Faculty Appointments Register, containing 86 faculty appointment registrants. Data on all candidates can also be accessed online by visiting www.aals.org/recruit/ and clicking on the "candidate search" link. Please note that this database is accessible to recruiters using the usernames and passwords attached to a memo from Associate Director Jane La Barbera dated August 10, 2000.

Changes in address or telephone information from candidates who appeared in previous distributions are noted on the next page. Additional changes were noted in the Deans' Memo which accompanied the third FAR distribution. Please note that these changes have already been made to the online database.

Unless a registrant requests otherwise, candidate forms will be made available to recruiting teams at the Faculty Recruitment Conference. This year's Conference will be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C., November 2-4, 2000.

This is the final distribution of Faculty Appointments Register forms prior to the Faculty Recruitment Conference. In addition to the Faculty Appointments Register forms that have appeared in one of the four fall distributions, forms that have been submitted since the last candidate deadline will be available to recruiters at the Faculty Recruitment Conference.
