Child Care

On-Site Activity Center
For those requiring child care services during hours in which AALS meetings and activities are occurring, a Children’s Activity Center will be located in the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. The Center will be staffed with professional, specially-trained supervisors who are CPR and Pediatric First Aid certified, along with others who enjoy working with children and have completed a specialized training program.

Children aged 6 months to 12 years are welcome. Play materials, toys for all age groups, games, videos, etc. will be provided, and age-oriented activities will be planned for the children. AALS will be paying a portion of the costs for this program, but parents will also be required to pay fees based on age of the child, number of days the activity center is used, and whether half-day or full-day services are required.

Please register as early as possible; space is limited. For additional information not listed on the registration form, please contact ACCENT on Children’s Arrangements directly at 504-524-1227. or visit their website at www.accentoca.com

Individual Child Care Service
For those in need of child care during the hours in which the Children's Activity Center is not open, contact Family and Child Care, Inc., at (202) 723-2051 or weeSIT at (703) 764-1542. Call the Hotel Concierge at extension 5130 or call the agencies directly to arrange for babysitting. Neither the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel nor AALS recommend these or any other agencies but provides this information for your reference.

BADGES FOR CHILDREN
Come to the AALS On-Site Registration Desk and ask for a colorful badge for your children who are with you at the Annual Meeting. This badge will provide access for your children into program sessions. There are additional fees for children to attend the Gala Reception, meal events or any other extra fee events.
