(Program to be published in the Virginia Law Review.)

We find ourselves carrying the great case of Marbury v. Madison with us into its third century. Mysteriously, Marbury seems essential to us even now. But this case continues to arouse bitter controversy. To this mystery and these battles our speakers bring interesting perspectives of American legal history, political science, and constitutional theory.
