The Hopwood decision and anti-affirmative action initiatives in California and Washington State have greatly impacted on law school admissions processes in the affected geographic areas and beyond. Those committed to maintaining and increasing the prescence of minority students in law schools find themselves challenged to devise methods of addressing the initial decrease in minority enrollment in their schools. The panelists will discuss some of the lessons they have learend, while acknowledging the continued challenges ahead.
