The mass media daily reports on new issues in e-commerce. Some implicate legal concerns while others do not. This panel will focus broadly on behavior in e-commerce that is raising novel legal questions. It will discuss such areas as domestic and international legislative initiatives and problems of privacy. It will also assess the state of the law of payment systems including e-cash and electronic negotiable instruments. The panels' goal is to give a broad view of legal trends in e-commerce.
