Moderator:

Speakers:
Deborah R. Hensler, Stanford Law School

Mass torts frequently invoke questions that challenge traditional ways of analyzing tort claims. Whether the questions are procedural or substantive, practical or theoretical, we must rethink old assumptions about the nature of tort litigation in order to answer them effectively. The speakers in this panel will do just that as they try to address issues of professional responsibility, fairness, economic incentives in the context of mass tort litigation.
