This panel will highlight recent efforts in Latin America to strengthen the role of the judiciary and the judicial process. Topics for discussion include judicial independence, the importance of judicial training, the role of women in the judiciary, and how law schools can promote a strong and independent judiciary.

Leaders of institutions that are at the forefront of these efforts will discuss the initiatives of their respective institutions
