| "The Reliance Interest in Contract Damages" by Fuller and Perdue has been among the most influential works of scholarship in Contracts and Remedies. Recent scholars, however, have questioned both the normative justification for the reliance interest and the extent to which it serves any practical role in contract remedies. This panel assembles several of these scholars to explore whether the reliance interest has a meaningful and justifiable role to play in remedies, particularly contract remedies. |
