Where Is This Conference?

The conference sessions and sleeping accommodations will be at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel, 1201 Boulevard Rene-Levesque West, Montreal, Quebec H3B 2L7 Canada. The room rate is CAD225.00 (US$177 at the time of printing) for single or double occupancy. This rate is subject to 7% Goods and Service Tax, 7.5% Provincial Sales Tax and CAD2.00 per night Tourism Tax. The cut-off date for making a room reservation is May 23, 2005. Please note that the cut-off date does not guarantee availability. To ensure accommodations, please make your hotel reservation early.

Three ways to make a reservation:

2. Complete the Hotel Reservation Request (PDF) and fax it to Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel at (514) 878-3958;

3. Call (514) 878-2000 (do not use the toll free reservation number). Specify the AALS Mid-Year Meeting when making a reservation in order to receive the special rate.

In guaranteeing your reservation for late arrival (arrival after 6:00 p.m.) the Le Centre Sheraton Montreal requires that you either:
1. Send the Hotel Reservation Request Form, with check or money order covering the first night’s room and tax.
2. Fax (514) 878-3958 or call the hotel at (514) 878-2000 with your reservation, along with the entire number of one of the following credit cards: American Express, Carte Blanche, Diners Club, MasterCard or Visa. If faxing the form, don't forget the expiration date and your signature, and be sure that you receive a confirmation from the hotel.

Le Centre Sheraton Montreal will not hold your reservation after 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival without guaranteeing the reservation with one of the above methods. AALS encourages you to guarantee your room because an unexpected arrival after 6:00 p.m. will result in a cancellation of the reservation. Deposits will be refunded only if cancellation notification is received by the hotel by 6:00 p.m. the day prior to arrival.

Single/Double: CAD 225.00 for single or double occupancy; plus 7% goods and services tax, 7.5% provincial sales tax and CAD 2.00 per night tourism tax.

CUT-OFF DATE: May 23, 2005

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
